I prostrate to the protector of the Universe, to the Lama of the Universe,
who is celebrated by the beings of the three worlds, honored by the princes
of the gods, the demons, and Brahma,

Là đại đạo sư / toàn cõi thế gian. / Chúng sinh ba cõi
Đều tán dương ngài, / các bậc Thiên Vương,
Ma Vương, Phạm Vương / đều tán dương ngài,

He who gives the Accomplishment, the One who Shakyamuni, the sublime
victor glorifies.
I prostrate to the Sovereign Protector of the Three Worlds, the one who
possesses the Excellent Body of the multitude of Buddhas
And whose crown is the Buddha of boundless light.
Making the gesture of Supreme Giving, your right hand satisfies the
hunger and thirst of the hungry spirits.

Tán dương ngài là / bậc đại thành tựu, / là người mà đức / Thích Ca
Mâu Ni / vẫn hằng tán dương. / Con xin đảnh lễ / bậc đại hộ trì / luân
hồi ba cõi. / Thân ngài mầu nhiệm, / là thân của khắp / mười phương
Phật đà. / Đỉnh đầu ngài điểm / Phật Vô Lượng Quang. / Tay phải
mở ra / bắt ấn thí nguyện / xóa tan đói khát / của loài quỉ đói;

Perfectly adorned, your left hand holds a golden lotus.
Adorned with orange necklaces, your perfumed hair sparkles
Your beautiful face shines like a full moon.
Your wide lotus-like eyes are of sublime beauty.

Với bàn tay trái / trang nghiêm một đóa / sen màu hoàng kim;
Suối tóc ngát hương / cuộn dòng lấp lánh / điểm chuỗi ngọc cam;
Gương mặt tuyệt hảo / như vầng trăng tròn;
Đôi mắt cánh sen / đẹp ngời trong sáng ;

You are perfumed, and as perfectly white as a snowy conch shell.
You hold an immaculate pearl white glittering rosary.
You are clothed in dawn's marvelous lights.
Your smooth hands spread like a lotus lake.

chuỗi ngọc trai / lóng lánh sáng ngời ; / y áo tỏa rạng / như ánh bình
minh; / cánh tay dịu ngát / như là ao sen;

Your youthful glisten is like that of the autumn clouds.
Your shoulders are adorned with many jewels.
Your hands are as tender and young as the most exquisite leaves.
Your left breast is covered with a deerskin.

Trẻ trung lấp lánh / như áng mây thu;
Bờ vai điểm kết / thật nhiều châu báu;
Bàn tay mịn muốt / như đọt lá non;
Bờ ngực bên trái / da nai kín phủ;

Tay, chân và tai / điểm đầy trang sức / lộng lẫy uy nghi.
Ngài trú ở trên / đài sen tinh khiết;
Làn bụng thanh diệu / như là cánh sen;
Thắt lưng hoàng kim / khảm đầy châu báu;

Your hips are dressed in the best of silks.
You are the Sublime Knowledge of Shakyamuni, He Who's Gone Beyond
the Great Ocean.
You have fully gathered numerous virtues and have reached the Sublime.
You are the source of continuous bliss, the One who destroys old age and
illness.

Quần tơ lụa mịn. / Ngài là diệu trí / của đức Mâu Ni, / người đã vượt
qua / bến bờ bên kia. / Ngài đã viên thành / công đức vô lượng / đạt
quả vô thượng, / là nguồn an lạc / tận diệt bệnh, lão;

You who stops the Three, you display the enjoyments of the Dakinis' realms
Sublime among beings, you are victorious in battle over hosts of demons
Your golden anklet tinkle charmingly with golden rings that encircle your
ankles.
Your solitude of retreat is beyond the four Brahma absorptions.

Là Tam-giải thoát, / thị hiện niềm vui / cõi Đà kì ni;
Là đấng Thế tôn, / chiến thắng tất cả / sức mạnh ma vương;
Bước chân vang vọng / tiếng chạm chuỗi vàng.
Chốn định của ngài / siêu việt cõi định / của đấng Phạm Thiên.

You move with the grace of a swan and the dignity of an elephant.
Keeper of the doctrine, you have completely gathered the accumulations.
You are the Savior who liberates from the ocean of milk (calm) and from
the ocean of water (becoming).

Dáng đi thanh thoát / như loài thiên nga,
Và cũng uy nghi / như voi kiêu dũng;
Viên thành phước tuệ / chấp trì diệu pháp.
Là bậc cứu độ / chúng sinh thoát khỏi
biển rộng của sữa, / biển rộng của nước.

Whoever will rise with respect at dawn, thinking of Chenrezik's powers,
and who, with pure mind will clearly praise him thus,
Whether male or female,

Thiện nam thiện nữ, / ai người thức dậy / khi trời rạng sáng,
Ngay từ trong tim / thành tâm cung thỉnh / đức Quan Thế Âm /
với tâm trong sáng / tụng niệm rõ ràng / bài xưng tán này,

May he satisfy all needs in and beyond this world of destruction.
