Tận Diệt Ma Ái Ngã

1. Với quyết tâm thành tựu
lợi lạc lớn lao nhất
nhờ tất cả chúng sinh,
tôi nguyện luôn giữ gìn
chúng sinh trong đáy tim,
vì chúng sinh quí hơn
cả bảo châu như ý.

2. Khi gặp gỡ tiếp xúc
với bất kỳ một ai,
nguyện tôi luôn thấy mình
là kẻ thấp kém nhất,
từ đáy lòng chân thật
luôn tôn kính mọi người
như kính bậc tối cao.

3. Nguyện trong từng hành động
tôi luôn tự xét mình,
phiền não vừa dấy lên,
đe dọa mình và người,
nguyện tức thì nhận diện,
và tức thì dẹp tan.

4. Khi gặp người hiểm ác
vì bị tâm phiền não
và ác nghiệp tác động,
nguyện tôi quí người ấy
như vừa tìm ra được
kho tàng trân quí nhất.

5. Khi gặp người vì lòng
ganh ghen và đố kỵ
miệt thị phỉ báng tôi,
nguyện tôi nhận phần thua,
nhường đi mọi phần thắng.

6. Khi gặp người mà tôi
giúp đỡ, đặt kỳ vọng,
lại vong ân bội nghĩa
gây tổn hại cho tôi,
nguyện tôi xem người ấy
là một đấng tôn sư.

7. Tóm lại tôi xin nguyện
trực tiếp và gián tiếp
trao tặng mọi lợi lạc
cho tất cả chúng sinh,
đều là mẹ của tôi
từ vô lượng kiếp trước.
Nguyện âm thầm gánh chịu
mọi ác nghiệp khổ não
thay thế cho chúng sinh.

8. Nguyện những điều nói trên
không bị vướng ô nhiễm
bởi tám ngọn gió chướng.
Nguyện tôi thấy mọi sự
hiện ra trong cõi đời
đều chỉ như huyễn mộng,
cho tâm thôi chấp bám,
thoát ràng buộc luân hồi.

The Everflowing Nectar of the Mahayana Thought Training

Annihilating the Demon of the Self-Cherishing Mind

1. Determined to obtain the greatest possible benefit from all sentient beings, who are more precious than a wish-fulfilling jewel, I shall hold them most dear at all times.

2. When in the company of others, I shall always consider myself the lowest of all, and from the depths of my heart hold others dear and supreme.

3. Vigilant, the moment a delusion appears in my mind, endangering myself and others, I shall confront and avert it without delay.

4. Whenever I see beings who are wicked in nature and overwhelmed by violent negative actions and suffering, I shall hold such rare ones dear, as if I had found a precious treasure.

5. When, out of envy, others mistreat me with abuse, insults, or the like, I shall accept defeat and offer the victory to others.
6. When someone whom I have benefited and in whom I have great hopes gives me terrible harm, I shall regard that person as my holy guru.

7. In short, both directly and indirectly, do I offer every happiness and benefit to all my mothers. I shall secretly take upon myself all their harmful actions and suffering

8.  Undefiled by the stains of the superstitions of the eight worldly concerns, may I, by perceiving all phenomena as illusory, be released from the bondage of attachment.
